The DJI Ronin 4D brings together years of DJI innovation to deliver a premium imaging system for demanding cinematographers. This modular camera platform combines high-end video performance, advanced stabilisation and wireless transmission in one portable setup. Included is the Zenmuse X9, DJIÕs flagship full-frame camera, paired with the powerful CineCore 3.0 processor. This version of the Ronin 4D records up to 6K/60fps and 4K/120fps.

DJI is well known for its 3-axis gimbal cameras, and the Ronin 4D takes stabilisation further with a Z-axis added to the system. The result is smooth, stable 4-axis stabilisation for more refined handheld and moving shots.

High-quality audio capture is supported through the built-in microphones, which offer dual-channel 24-bit recording, or via external microphones connected through the 3.5mm and XLR inputs.

The Zenmuse X9 camera delivers up to 14 stops of dynamic range and excellent low-light performance thanks to its dual native ISO. It also features 9 built-in ND filters with fast motorised switching. The native DL mount supports 3 compact full-frame lenses, with more promised in future, and the camera can also be used with lenses from other mounts, including Sony E and Leica M. The Ronin 4D also includes a large, bright 5.5-inch touchscreen monitor that can be positioned in multiple ways for comfortable viewing and framing, and attached to different points on the camera body.

With high-end resolution and gimbal stabilisation combined in one system, the DJI Ronin 4D makes cinematic capture more accessible in a portable package. With a range of sensors available, it can handle complex camera movements, while ActiveTrack Pro provides improved subject tracking to keep your key subject in frame throughout movement.

The new LiDAR focusing system adds even more flexibility, delivering fast and accurate manual focusing that is suitable even for users new to manual focus. It also provides rapid AF performance for manual-focus-only lenses when the focus motor is mounted on the camera. Automated manual focus is available, allowing users to rely on autofocus while still making manual adjustments whenever needed.

DJI O3 Pro video transmission technology is built into the Ronin 4D, enabling wireless transmission at distances of up to 20,000 feet. In addition to 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, O3 Pro supports the DFS frequency band and AES 256-bit encryption, and can transmit Full HD video to remote monitors simultaneously. For recording, the Ronin 4D includes a CFexpress card slot, supports RAW recording to a connected ProSSD drive, and can also record externally via the USB Type-C port.
