With a safe payload of 2 kg, the DJI RS 4 Mini is ideal for smartphones as well as mirrorless cameras with a range of lenses attached. When filming on a phone, it works with the compatible smartphone holder (sold separately), making mobile content creation simple. It can also be used with accessories such as LED lights and microphones while still maintaining stable, fluid movement.

The DJI RS 4 Mini includes auto axis locks, a feature previously reserved for flagship DJI gimbals. The locks automatically release when the gimbal powers on and engage when it powers off, helping speed up setup, transition and storage. The axis arms also fold flatter, making this gimbal especially travel-friendly.

Balancing your camera on the DJI RS 4 Mini is easier than ever. Teflon™ interlayers, previously featured on flagship gimbals, reduce friction for smoother balancing, while a new fine-tuning knob enables precise, millimetre-level adjustment. The quick-release plate with three positioning slots provides more balancing room and remembers your camera's position for fast reattachment without needing to rebalance.

The DJI RS 4 Mini also features an improved touchscreen interface with clearer icons and smoother performance. New status prompts have been added, and parameter changes are easier thanks to direct fine-tuning through the front dial. A new auto-lock function dims the screen and shows the current gimbal and joystick modes, helping prevent accidental touches while conserving battery life.
