Flexible Control and Flight Modes

The DJI Neo 2 offers several intuitive ways to fly. For hands-free control, Gesture Control lets you guide direction and distance using one or both palms without a remote. Voice Control through your mobile device or Bluetooth earphones lets you issue commands while running or cycling, and it can record audio while reducing propeller noise. For a more traditional setup, you can use the virtual joysticks in the DJI Fly app or pair the drone with the DJI RC-N3 or RC 2 remote controllers, with the RC 2 delivering a maximum video transmission distance of 10 km for professional shooting. The drone also supports Motion Control when used with DJI goggles and a motion controller for an immersive FPV experience.

Enhanced Tracking and Safety

Built as a personal follow-me camera, the Neo 2 uses advanced ActiveTrack technology for smooth, stable subject tracking, even during fast activities such as running or cycling at speeds of up to 12 m/s in open areas. Tracking can work in eight directions for more natural follow shots. Safety is further improved with Dual Protection, combining an integrated propeller guard design with omnidirectional obstacle sensing using vision, LiDAR and infrared systems. This helps the drone detect and avoid obstacles from the front and sides, making it suitable for beginners, while Return to Home (RTH) and Failsafe RTH provide added peace of mind.

The Neo 2 captures crisp, cinematic footage with its 12MP, 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It records 4K/60fps video and 4K/100fps slow motion, stabilised by a 2-axis gimbal working together with Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). It also supports 2.7K vertical video for social media. Portrait Optimisation enhances brightness, contrast and skin tones, while intelligent shooting modes such as Dolly Zoom, QuickShots and SelfieShot make it easy to capture striking shots, with SelfieShot automatically framing subjects hands-free.

Convenience and Efficiency

Designed for everyday convenience, the Neo 2 includes 49GB of internal storage for extended 4K recording and supports QuickTransfer speeds of up to 80 MB/s for fast access to your files. Charging is simple via USB-C or the Two-Way Charging Hub, which can charge three batteries at the same time. With up to 19 minutes of flight time and stable hovering in winds of up to 10.7 m/s, it is built for reliable capture.
