Flexible Control and Flight Modes

DJI Neo 2 offers several intuitive ways to fly. For simple, hands-free control, Gesture Control lets you guide the droneÕs direction and distance using one or both palms, with no remote controller required. Voice Control via your mobile device or Bluetooth earphones allows you to issue commands while running or cycling, and it can record audio while filtering out propeller noise. For a more traditional experience, you can use the virtual joysticks in the DJI Fly app or pair the drone with the DJI RC-N3 or RC 2 remote controllers, with the RC 2 achieving a maximum video transmission distance of 10 km for professional shots. It also supports Motion Control when used with DJI goggles and a motion controller for an immersive FPV experience.

Enhanced Tracking and Safety

As a personal follow-me camera, the Neo 2 uses advanced ActiveTrack technology for smooth, stable subject tracking, even during fast activities such as running or cycling at speeds up to 12 m/s in open areas. Tracking supports eight directions for more natural-looking follow shots. Safety is further improved with Dual Protection, combining an integrated propeller guard design with Omnidirectional Obstacle Sensing through vision, LiDAR and infrared systems. This helps the drone detect and avoid obstacles from the front and sides, making it suitable for beginners, while Return to Home (RTH) and Failsafe RTH provide added peace of mind.

Neo 2 captures sharp, cinematic-quality footage with its 12MP, 1/2-inch CMOS sensor and f/2.2 aperture. It supports 4K/60fps video recording and 4K/100fps slow motion, with stabilisation provided by a 2-axis gimbal working alongside Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS). The drone also supports 2.7K vertical video for social media content. Portrait Optimisation helps improve brightness, contrast and skin tones, while intelligent shooting modes such as Dolly Zoom, QuickShots and SelfieShot make it easy to capture striking, varied perspectives hands-free.

Convenience and Efficiency

Designed for efficient use, Neo 2 includes 49GB of internal storage for extended 4K recording sessions and supports QuickTransfer speeds of up to 80 MB/s for fast file access. Charging is simple through direct USB-C charging or the Two-Way Charging Hub, which can charge three batteries at once. With a flight time of 19 minutes and stable hovering in winds up to 10.7 m/s, the drone is made for reliable capture. Its hovering and positioning performance is improved over the previous model, making it easier to fly in challenging environments such as indoors or over water.
