The Canon EOS R6 Mark II raises the bar for the popular full-frame EOS R series. Featuring a 24.2MP full-frame CMOS sensor and DIGIC X processor, it delivers beautifully detailed stills across a wide ISO range of 100-102,400 (expanded), along with impressive 4K60p video with 6K oversampling.

Fast autofocus and smooth stabilisation

The Canon EOS R6 Mark II features a remarkably fast 1053-point AF system and Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF II, enabling quick, quiet focusing even in very low light. Subject tracking performance has also been improved, with tracking available for people, animals and various vehicle types. This gives you the freedom to follow moving subjects across the frame with confidence.

Handheld shooting is made easier with built-in 5-axis image stabilisation. When used with select stabilised RF lenses, the IS system can provide up to 8 stops of stabilisation for sharp, blur-free results in a wide range of shooting situations.

Fast continuous shooting

To help you capture decisive moments, the Canon EOS R6 Mark II offers continuous shooting at up to 40 fps with the electronic shutter, or up to 12 fps with the mechanical shutter. A pre-shooting mode is also available, allowing the camera to record up to 0.5 seconds before the shutter is fully pressed.

Video performance for creators

The Canon EOS R6 Mark II is equally impressive for video. It supports Full HD 180p recording for slow-motion capture, as well as RAW recording to an external device. Improved recording times allow for continuous recording of up to 6 hours, while 5 seconds of pre-recording helps ensure you do not miss key moments. For content creators, the camera also offers simple plug-and-play live streaming via USB connection to a computer.

Like other Canon EOS R models, the EOS R6 Mark II combines strong performance with a compact body, weighing just 670g. Its weather-sealed construction makes it well suited to outdoor photography and travel in more challenging conditions.

The camera includes dual SD memory card slots, giving you flexible file management for high-resolution video and advanced continuous shooting. It also features a high-quality electronic viewfinder for eye-level shooting, plus a 3-inch tilting, touch-sensitive LCD screen for quick operation and easy framing from a variety of angles, including front-facing content creation.
