The Canon EOS R50 is a compact, lightweight mirrorless camera designed for creators and vloggers, offering impressive versatility in both stills and video. Slightly smaller and lighter than the EOS M50 Mark II, it features a new 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor and DIGIC X image processor to produce detailed high-resolution images and UHD 4K video.

Combining a 24.2MP APS-C CMOS sensor with the powerful DIGIC X image processor, the EOS R50 delivers high-resolution imagery with rich, accurate colour. Built to perform across a wide range of lighting conditions, it offers an ISO range of 100-32000, expandable to ISO 51200 for shooting in low light.

Using the full width of the sensor, the camera supports 6K oversampled UHD 4K 30p video recording, as well as Full HD 1080 120p for slow-motion playback. It also now offers up to 1 hour of video recording. The DIGIC X image processor is capable of handling high-speed bursts and 4K video, and supports continuous shooting at up to 15 fps using the silent electronic shutter.
