CanonÕs latest fixed focal length L-series lens, the EF 24mm f/1.4L II USM, combines CanonÕs newest lens technology to deliver outstanding sharpness and impressive performance at every aperture. It includes two high-precision, large-diameter aspherical elements to maintain edge-to-edge clarity, including in the outer areas of full-frame sensors.

The lens elements feature CanonÕs newly designed SWC (Sub Wavelength Coating), an advanced anti-reflective coating that uses an ultra-fine structure to help reduce ghosting and flare across the lens surface, no matter the angle of incoming or outgoing light.

Also included are two UD lens elements to reduce chromatic aberration, rear-focusing, and ultrasonic, quiet, high-speed autofocus with full-time manual override. A circular aperture creates attractive out-of-focus rendering, while the durable L-series build offers dust and water resistance and uses lead-free glass.
