Innovative Modular Technology

The Equinox Leo Tripod features 3 Legged Thing’s unique, modular technology which allows users to use the tripod in different ways. The tripod features a detachable leg, with standard 3/8” threads at both ends enabling it to be used as a monopod, a microphone boom, a selfie stick, or a camera boom arm.

ParaLock System

The Leo’s unique parallel locking system ensures a sturdy, secure set-up and a better grip. Additionally, the locking system allows simple, hassle-free maintenance of the tripod.

Sturdy and Versatile BallHead

Also made from aircraft-grade magnesium alloy and stainless steel fittings, the AirHed Light ballhead provides a 40kg working load capacity and it is one of the sturdiest ballheads in the market. With a convenient Arca-Swiss quick release plate, the AirHed allows you to conveniently and securely attach and release your camera from the tripod with minimal fuss, while the ergonomic grip of the main control knob enables you to easily tighten it using just your hands.

Employing the base pan-and-lock mechanism, the AirHed Light ball-head can also work well for video, delivering smooth panning to make your shots more dynamic and give them a more expansive feel. The 3LT Leo kit includes the QR3P Release Plate, which is compatible with the Peak Design Capture Clip and a carry case for easy portability.
