The Q2 is designed to work with the Zhiyun Play App which unlocks a whole host of features like motion-lapse, panorama as well as object tracking that keep a selected subject in the frame.

Gimbal Shooting Modes with Vortex, POV & Phone Go

As well as the normal pan follow, all follow and locking gimbal modes, the SmoothQ2 also has the popular Vortex and GO modes from their Crane 2, Crane 3 LAB and Weebil LAB gimbals. Vortex mode rotates the gimbal 360° for creative shots, the Go mode increases the sensitivity of the gimbal making it easier to film fast moving subjects and the POV mode following all three axes for ultimate control.
