The Tokina AT-X 11-16mm T3 Cinema Lens is a wide-angle cinematic lens designed for APS-C or smaller sensors, available for Canon EF, Sony E and Micro Four Third mounts. A bright transmission rating of T3 combined with the wide 11-16mm zoom range makes it perfect for low-light establishing shots and complex landscape scenes.

Wide-angle Versatility

Inspired by their popular 11-16mm f/2.8 DSLR lens, the Tokina cine lens uses a similar distortion-free optical design in a new all-metal housing that adds re-engineered controls optimised for video and digital cinema use. With a substantially large 166° focus throw for improved precision.

Ultra-Smooth De-Clicked Iris

An integral feature on cinema lenses is geared focus, iris, and zoom control for use with follow focus style systems and the lens does not disappoint. The iris control is super-smooth with a de-clicked aperture ring for more subtle depth of field and exposure adjustments.

APS-C, Super 35 and Micro Four Third Compatible

Designed for the cameras most often used for cinematographer and videographers, the lens is compatible with APS-C sensors as well as super 35 and the micro four third size sensors in Panasonic and Black Magic cameras.

4K Resolution Performance

By making use of two super-low dispersion elements as well as two aspherical lens elements, the lens produces images with the exceptionally high contrast and sharpness required for 4K resolution productions.

Cinematic Optics

The sophisticated 11 group optical construction uses 13 individual elements to ensure that your image is pin-sharp. Combined with a multi-coating that minimises flare and ghosting, the optical performance of the wide-angle cinematic lens is impressive.

Parfocal Design with Reduced Focal Breathing

The Tokina 11-16mm T3 DX Cine lens optics are designed for DPs and cinematographers. The parfocal design, means specific element groups can move independently, maintaining focus while zooming. Changes in the field of view when pulling focus between subjects has also been minimised to control focus breathing making the lens ideal for cinema and video shooting.
