The Rotolight NEO 2 LED Light is a continuous light source that mounts directly onto a camera and has a built-in receiver to double as a high-speed sync (HSS) flash. Flicker free with variable colour temperature and high CRI, the NEO 2 is a versatile light for all your production and photography needs. Flicker Free with Variable Colour Temperature

The NEO 2 LED Light provides continuous flicker free light, perfect for videos and slow-motion capture. The light also works well in ambient lighting. With thanks to the variable colour temperature range of 3150 to 6300K, allowing you to find the right colour balance whether you’re shooting in a studio or outdoors.

Continuous Light and Flash Mode

Operating as both a continuous light or in flash mode, the NEO 2 is perfect for switching between photography and videography. The LED light is capable of outputting a maximum of 2000 lux for 3 seconds at ISO 200 f/8. Connected to a main power source, the light output can be further increased to 500%, perfect for high speed action or a larger scene.

Receiver Inbuilt for High Speed Sync Flash

An onboard 2.4 GHz Elinchrom receiver can be linked to a separately available Skyport Transmitter to remotely trigger the Rotolight NEO 2. It is also compatible with a wired PC sync or a 3.5mm connection. Using this setup, up to 10 lights can be coordinated in four groups and wirelessly controlled within a range of 200m. As a high-speed sync flash, the Rotolight LED offers flash as fast as 1/8000 second, giving you huge versatility and precise control over a large area.

Accu-Colour with CRI of 96 and TLCI of 91

The advanced Accu-Colour Technology provides a high CRI of 96, allowing for accurate colour rendering. It also has a skin tone CRI (R15) of 98 while the TLCI rating is 91, making it ideal for live broadcast conditions and minimising the need for post-production colour correction.

Integrated CineSFX Technology

The Rotolight NEO2 features CineSFX Technology with several lighting pre-sets programmed in, such as police lights, television flicker, strobe, lightning and fire light. The CineSFX function replaces specialist equipment and can be set numerically for consistent and precise lighting effects, giving filmmakers a huge range of creative control.

True Aperture Dimming and Designer Fade

True Aperture Dimming offers flicker free light infinitely variable light output. Using shutter speed and distance in feet, the NEO 2 can calculate exposure settings accurately, displaying in F-stops to allow users to set shots up faster. A Designer Fade mode offers production quality fade down and fade up to for a dramatic tone.

No Recycle Time and 85,000 flashes

Without any recycle time, the Rotolight NEO 2 can keep up with high frame rates for fast action photography. The light is compatible with rechargeable AA batteries and in continuous light mode can operate for 1.5 hours at 100 percent power or provide 85,000 full-power flashes. A D-Tap connection can be used to connect it to DC power or the included adapter can be plugged into AC mains when it needs to be used for longer periods.

Tripod Threads and Adapter

At the base of the light, there are three 1/4-inch tripod threads, allowing it to be mounted on standard supports. A 1/4-inch shoe mount adapter is also included so it can be mounted directly onto a camera.
