The Capture Pro Camera Clip & PROplate is Peak Design’s flagship, pro-grade camera carrying solution for the on-the-go photographer. 

This kit includes the Capture Pro camera clip and a PROplate quick release plate. Together, the clip and plate can cater for virtually any camera type, from DSLRs to mirrorless and even point-and-shoot cameras. 

The PROclip delivers user flexibility with its ability to be attached to other gear such as backpack straps and belts under 7.6cm wide and 1.3cm thick via a clamp and screw system. A tripod mounting hole at the base of the clip can be used to screw the clip onto a tripod, monopod or light stand for even greater mounting possibilities. Injection-moulded rubber pads on the quick release plates conform to the base of the camera to prevent unwanted movement during use while preserving the camera’s condition.

The updated quick release PROplate, the interface between the camera and the clip, is the pinnacle of the Peak Design capture plate evolution. It combines the features of the previous DUALplate, ARCAplate and PROplate iterations to offer maximum functionality and versatility.

The latest PROplate design is compatible with ARCA-type tripod heads and Manfrotto RC2 tripod heads for compatibility with a broad range of tripods from the world’s most popular manufacturers. Its symmetrical design also allows it to slide into the Capture clip in 4 directions allowing you to clip in your camera quickly and easily or orient the camera to make changing lenses a breeze.

Additionally, it contains 4 loops for compatibility with Peak Design Anchors, opening up compatibility with the entire range of Peak Design hand straps and shoulder straps.

The camera is fastened to the plate by a PROdrive screw with D-ring or an included 4mm hex key. The plate then securely attaches to the clamp to provide security against theft and accidental drops and will remain in place until the safety quick release is disabled.  

Constructed from weatherproof powder-coated aluminium, the Peak Design CapturePRO Camera Clip System with Proplate is overengineered to withstand approx. 90kg of applied force, ensuring compatibility with even the most professional camera and lens combinations.
