Its 12x optical zoom capability enables you to shoot a broad range of subjects including landscapes and up-close portraits. The zoom can be doubled to 24x using the intelligent zoom function, delivering a 35mm equivalent of 24-576mm for maximum creativity.

Optical Image Stabiliser

A built-in optical image stabiliser maximises image sharpness and ensures consistently crisp, detail rich pictures by reducing camera shake. This helps achieve razor-sharp self-portraits where only one hand is available for stability and is especially useful at the long end of the zoom where any camera movement is magnified and can result in blurry images.

The built-in selfie mode further improves your portraits. It can be activated when you tilt the 2.7-inch 460k-dot LCD screen upward. The LCD monitor is suitable in a broad range of lighting conditions and features adjustable brightness which can be customised according to your personal preference.

Built-in Beauty Filters

Three beauty modes further improve your self-portrait results and include a Soft Skin mode which automatically brightens and smoothes out skin tones, a Slimming Mode which sharpens facial lines for a more flattering look plus a Background Defocusing mode mimics the effect of a portrait lens by blurring out the visual distractions in the background while leaving you in sharp focus.

Built-in WiFi = Instant Photo Sharing

Built-in WiFi allows you to quickly and easily transfer your images to share with friends and family via a compatible iOS or Android device. Utilising the free Panasonic Image App further challenges your creativity by doubling as a wireless remote control and viewfinder to allow you to view and shoot away from the camera.
