It's also great protection for your HERO 8 camera when used in more gnarly activities with higher consequences, protecting it from dust, flying debris and major wipeouts.

Protects the HERO8 Black camera

Using the HERO8 Protective Housing gives you full protection for against drops or knocks. The suit also gives you the ability to take the HERO8 Black to a depth of 60m underwater, perfect for scuba diving.

Includes Skeleton Backdoor

Included with the kit is a Standard Backdoor plus a Skeleton Backdoor. The Skeleton Bbackdoor is useful if you want full access to the rear touch screen for controlling the HERO8 camera. It also delivers more natural sound pickup from the microphone, delivering better audio quality for your videos. It is not recommended for the camera to be used underwater in conjunction with the Skeleton Backdoor.

Flat Glass Lens

The protective housing uses a flat glass lens to ensure maximum optical quality both on land and underwater.

Mounting Buckle and Thumb Screw

The GoPro Protective Housing for the HERO8 Black comes with a buckle which is used for attaching it on a compatible mount and a thumb screw for locking it in place.

The GoPro Protective Housing is compatible with HERO8.
