360° Video - Capture Action in all Directions

The Garmin VIRB 360 features 2 extreme-wide angle lenses that capture perspectives from all directions to produce immersive spherical 4k video. It can also capture unstitched 360° RAW footage at an awesome 5.7k resolution with up to 30fps. Going a step beyond, it also lets you capture traditional full HD 16:9 linear footage through either of the lenses, functioning like a regular action camera, but with a super-wide angle perspective.

In-Camera Stitching and One-Click Stabilisation

When shooting in 4K, the VIRB 360 offers automatic in-camera stitching for seamless video results. One-click stabilisation eliminates shaky, hard-to-follow footage, resulting in super smooth, easy to watch video. It also ensures your clips are ready to share without any post-production editing.

Spherical 15 Megapixel Photos

The camera can take 15MP 360° photos that are stitched-in-camera as well. As with video mode, photo mode also lets you use either of the 2 lenses to capture 3MP ultra-wide angle shots. It also offers one-second bursts of 20 frames per second with a self-timer, and time lapse photo mode.

Spatial Audio

To complement the 360° video, the camera is equipped with four microphones, one on each side, to record 4-channel 360° audio for a total surround sound experience. To further enhance your audio recording experience, the camera can also support external Bluetooth microphones.

Putting more control conveniently at your fingertips, the VIRB 360 lets you customise your images and videos camera using the Pro Settings menu in the mobile App. Adjust settings like ISO, exposure compensation, white balance, sharpness, colour profiles, and more.

4K Spherical Stabilisation Modes

Using the VIRB Mobile App you can stabilise your shaky 5.7k footage into impressively smooth and stable 4K video. The App offers three stabilisation modes. The Stabilise Mode minimises jitters and vibrations, the Lock Mode restricts the camera’s orientation to keep the horizon level, and the Follow Mode allows the camera’s orientation to follow the GPS trajectory.

360° Time-lapse and Travel-Lapse Video

Along with photo time-lapse mode, the camera offers two different video time-lapse modes. In traditional time-lapse mode, the camera is takes a 360° image at set intervals while travel-lapse mode utilises built-in GPS to take images at a set distance, like every 2 kilometres, creating a spherical video. It’s a perfect feature for creating a short film of your entire amazing road trip.

G-Metrix Sensors and Data Overlays

The VIRB 360 can overlay a huge range of data on your video and photos. Built-in sensors like GPS, accelerometer, altimeter, gyroscope, a compass and a barometer constantly capture your coordinates, speed, path, altitude, and more, displaying a virtual dashboard onto your video. Using the data, you can record how far you biked, how fast you skied downhill, how high you jumped, and the G-Forces encountered during your thrill seeking.

Control via Voice Command
