Fujifilm's GFX 100 brings phase detect focusing speed, 5-axis in-body image stabilisation, and 4K30 video recording to medium format photography.  Camera technology has somewhat stagnated in recent times, but the GFX100 is such a technological feat that it feels like a genuine evolutionary step for top-tier landscape and studio professionals.

102 Megapixel Medium Format Sensor

At its heart lies a massive 102 Megapixel 55mm diagonal length Medium Format sensor. Capable of resolving an insane amount of detail, it also boasts the exceptional colour reproduction that Fujifilm is renowned for.

Improved Low-Light Performance

The back illuminated design of the large sensor enables a greater amount of light to enter to ensure superior noise performance in low-light environments. Combine this with an improved dynamic range and faster readout despite the high pixel count and you've got a seriously capable camera in your hands.

3.76 Million Phase Detection AF Points

Fujifilm has taken the usability of medium format cameras to the next level with the inclusion of 3.76 million phase detection pixels across approximately 100% of the sensors surface to enable fast, accurate, consistent AF performance. This newfound speed brings the possibility of exploiting the resolution of a 102 Megapixel Medium Format sensor to genres like sports, action and street photography.

Face & Eye Detect Autofocus

No camera is complete without face and Eye Detection Autofocus these days. So, of course the GFX 100 includes both functions. Essential for fashion and portrait photographers, the algorithms have been improved to detect faces from greater distances and better handle tracking the side profile of a moving subject.

5-Axis Image Stabilisation

But wait. There's more! The GFX 100 is also the first Medium Format camera to boast a 5-axis In Body Image Stabilisation system. To truly make the most of the sensors resolving capabilities, the IBIS system offers up to a 5.5 stop advantage further maximising image sharpness and clarity.

The sensor stabilisation technology equips you with the confidence and convenience to shoot handheld, opening up a world full of creative opportunities.

4K30 Video Recording

Everyone is shooting some form of video these days, so Fujifilm have future proofed the GFX 100 by adding in 4K30 recording capabilities. Clips can be saved in 10-bit 4:2:0 internally, and 10-bit output 4:2:2 to an external recorder.

The inclusion of F-Log and support for the H.265/HEVC codec ensures suitability for working with existing cameras and matching footage to slot into your existing workflow.

Convenient LCD Monitor Layout

A 1.8-inch LCD monitor sits on the top panel of the GFX 100 and is complemented by a 2.05-inch sub monitor on the rear panel. These panels display relevant EXIF data such as the histogram, along with camera and exposure settings, ensuring you've got the right camera settings at a glance.

3.2-inch LCD Touchscreen Display

The rear screen is a 3.2-inch 2.36 million-dot tilting LCD touchscreen display. It's innovative tri-axial design allows you to tilt the monitor when shooting in landscape or portrait mode.

5.76 Million dot EVF

The EVF is an OLED display that uses the same detachable design as the GFX 50S. Designed specifically with the 102 Megapixel sensor in mind, the EVF combines the world's highest OLED panel boasting a monumental 5.76 million-dots and five optical glass elements to deliver a 0.86x magnification.

Additionally, the EVF can be set to 'Frame Rate Priority' 'Resolution Priority or 'AF Speed Priority' to enhance the accuracy of speed, clarity or autofocus.

Magnesium Alloy Construction

Built to satisfy the demands of busy professionals, the Fujifilm GFX 100 is built around a robust magnesium alloy body with an integrated vertical grip. Weather sealing is applied to 95 locations throughout it's exterior to deliver superior confidence in its reliability, even when shooting in the toughest conditions.
