The Epson Perfection V800 flatbed scanner is a high quality photographic scanner that produces remarkable results. It’s perfect for the professional or enthusiast who shoots film or wishes to digitise their analogue collection or prints.
Precision High Quality Scanning
With a state-of-the-art 6,400 dpi maximum optical resolution, the V800 offers excellent detail and colour information in each scan. Complemented with an impressive 4.0 Dmax, the high resolution scans exhibit a wide tonal range with smooth graduations in colour and tone and exceptional shadow detail retention.
48-bit colour and 16-bit grayscale options make it perfect for scanning positive slides, negatives, medium format and large format film of any type via the included film holders. The scanner is also capable of rapidly scanning full colour business documents, up to A4 in size, in as fast as 12 seconds.
Dual Lens System
An automatic dual lens system optimises scanning for different media types. Based on the scanning mode, the appropriate lens is selected (either the 6400dpi Super Resolution lens or the 4800dpi High Resolution lens) and adjusted accordingly.
Improve Scanning Workflow
The flatbed scanner utilises ReadyScan LED technology, which allows almost instantaneous start-up time for high productivity with low scanning temperature ensuring delicate originals remain safe. Scanning workflow is further bolstered with the batch scanning capabilities of the V800. Multiple slides and negatives can be digitised with the included film holders in one go.
Easy One-Click Restoration and Correction
The scanner includes Digital ICE technology for automated removal of dust and scratch defects from film and print scans, while keeping the composition and quality of your photograph intact, saving time and minimising costly retouching.
The included Easy Photo Fix software is perfect for restoring faded photos, slides and negatives back to their original brilliance with a simple click.
Improved Film Holders
Anti-Newton ring plates have been added to the improved film holders, which ensures that unattractive newton ring patterns do not occur and sharp image quality is retained.
