The Elinchrom BRX500 - 3 Head Lighting kit has been designed as the perfect starter package for serious studio photographers.
Comprehensive Studio Kit
Deliberately compiled to help you accomplish even the most complicated lighting setups, the kit includes three BRX500 strobes, a Skyport Speed Transmitter, a 135cm Elinchrom Rotalux Octa Softbox, a Elinchrom 44cm Beauty Dish, a 21cm Reflector, a 20° Grid, a 30° Grid, 3 Light Stands and a ProTec 3 Head Rolling Case. It ensures you're equipped to shoot everything from portraits and fashion photography, to product photography, still life and much more.
Includes Three BRX500 Studio Flashes
The main components of the kit are the three Elinchrom BRX500 studio flashes. Perfect for setting up complex 2 or 3 light setups, they feature built-in EL-Skyport receivers to deliver wireless radio remote control of the flash output, enabling you to quickly and easily modify the power of each light separately to more easily control the light and dark areas of your image.
With 500W/s of power each, the lights can be adjusted to 1/1, 1/2, 4/10, 1/3, 2/10 or 1/10 increments for complete control over your flash output.
High Speed Sync is available at up to 1/320th of a second and is combined with a 1/1558 sec flash duration at full power to equip you with the ability to capture tack-sharp fast motion sequences with ease.
Equipped with a bayonet mount, the BRX500 accepts all Elinchrom accessories including reflectors, grids, snoots and softboxes.
Wireless Flash Triggering
The EL-Skyport Speed Transmitter enables wireless flash triggering, eliminating the restrictive nature of using PC sync cables for multi-flash setups. The +/- buttons on the transmitter enable easy adjustment of flash output and control of the modelling lamp.
The switch selection for 8 different frequency channels and 4 different groups allows you to organise your strobes into groups for more efficient control. An 'All' switch can be utilised to change output across all the lights in your setup.
An integrated hot-shoe with screw lock allows you to mount the transmitter onto the top of your camera, for convenient access when shooting.
Elinchrom Rotalux Octa Softbox - 135cm
A must for portrait, beauty and fashion photographers, the Rotalux Octa Softbox delivers gorgeous, smooth, diffused light and natural looking catch-lights.
Equipped with both a front and an inner diffuser, the softbox output can be easily adjusted to your exact requirements.
Elinchrom Softlite Reflector Beauty Dish
The 44cm Softlite Beauty Dish is also great for portraits and fashion photography. Its bright concentration of light produces a gently fall off which helps sculpt facial features, improving contrast and highlight angles without the harshness of a bare flash. It's also great for producing catchlights, adding a natural 'spark' in the eyes of your subject.
Elinchrom Reflectors + 20° and 30° Grids
The basic reflector features a pebbled surface that intensifies light and offers a beam spread of 50°. The beam can be controlled via the 20° or 30° grids to give you a more concentrated beam of light, ideal for creating high contrast or used as rim light.
3x Light Stands with Case
Three light stands are included with the kit and allowing you to set up and direct light your strobes as required. Their three section design allows them to extend to an impressive height of 235 cm. The light stands also include a convenient carry case to store and protect them when not in use.
