1-Inch 20 Megapixel CMOS Sensor Camera
The on-board camera is equipped with a large 1-inch 20-megapixel CMOS sensor for outstanding image quality. Offering a wide dynamic range, lower signal-to-noise ratio and superior low-light performance, it also combines a versatile maximum ISO12800 to ensure you can capture stunning stills and video even when flying at dusk or dawn.High Resolution Still Images
The camera captures 20-megapixel images in either JPG or Adobe’s DNG RAW format for post-processing flexibility. Alternatively, extract an image from the high-resolution 4K video files for trickier subjects.Cinema 4K and UHD 4K Video
Record video in both 4K DCI (4096×2160) at 50fps and 4K UHD (3840×2160) at up to 60 frames per second, providing high resolution slow motion footage. It can also record at 120fps in Full HD to allow you to truly push your creative ability. Powerful video processing supports H.264 and H.265 video at up to a bitrate of 100Mbps, capturing more image detail and data for post-production editing. For convenience, photos and video are stored internally on a micro-SD card.Bright f/2.8 Lens
A 24mm wide angle lens (35mm equivalent) produces wide panoramic shots. The lens features a fast f/2.8 maximum aperture for superior low light performance. 7 elements, including two aspherical elements to reduce distortions and aberrations produce images with outstanding clarity.Mechanical Shutter
By using a mechanical shutter, the camera eliminates motion blur caused by a rolling electronic shutter when shooting stills of fast moving objects. With a maximum shutter speed of 1/2000-second, the mechanical shutter ensures sharp, realistic photos even when the drone is flying at speed, or panning. The improved electronic shutter mode features a maximum speed of 1/8000s, allowing you to capture up to 14 frames per second in Burst Shooting Mode to catch the perfect moment or create awesome action sequences.Camera Stabilisation
A 3-axis gimbal holds the camera and lens, instantly responding to every minor movement of the aircraft to stabilise the camera during flight. The result is smooth and stable footage with a levelled horizon, even in difficult flying conditions. The gimbal also allows full manual control of the camera pan and tilt via the controller, ensuring it's easy to get the ideal angle for your shot.Improved Vision Positioning System
In addition to a pair of high-resolution stereo vision sensors placed at the front, the Phantom 4 Pro V2.0’s Vision Positioning System (VPS) features an additional set at the rear as well as infrared sensing systems on the left and right sides to create an Obstacle Sensing and Avoidance System that allows it to sense its surrounding environment in 5-dimensions and avoid obstacles in 4 directions. This complex network of components enables the quadcopter to detect and fly around obstacles to prevent collisions when flying indoors or other environments where GPS signal is unavailable, giving you the confidence to attempt more ambitious film-making projects.Reliable Outdoor Navigation
Connectivity to both GPS and GLONASS satellites provides accurate positioning and gives the aircraft complete awareness of its starting point, current location and flight path at all times for reliable outdoor navigation. If disturbed during a hover by heavy winds, the VPS and GPS systems can track its movement and return it to its original hovering point.OcuSync Video Transmission with Dual Frequency Support
The P4 Pro V2’s remote controller employs DJI’s latest OCUSYNC transmission technology that supports both 2.4Ghz and 5.8Ghz. The system uses a time-division multiplexing mechanism to select the best frequency band to transmit both video feed and remote control signals simultaneously on the same frequency for a more stable transmission. This technology enables you to confidently fly the drone up to 7km away.Intelligent Flight Modes
Even if you have never piloted a drone previously, you can still create professional aerial footage using the Intelligent Flight Modes. With its built-in autonomous flight capability, the drone is capable of flying with minimum intervention, allowing you to concentrate on capturing the best shot.ActiveTrack Mode:
Using the Visual Tracking System, the quadcopter can recognise and track a range of subjects while keeping them within the frame. Whether you or your subject are running, cycling, skating, skiing, or driving, the quadcopter uses an advanced combination of computer vision, object recognition, gesture support and machine learning to track the subject as it moves. You can touch the screen, mark a selection box around yourself, your friends, or even your pets and sit back and let the drone execute a range of complex moves to capture cinematic shots. The ActiveTrack Mode offers 3 options.
• Profile Mode: The quadcopter flies alongside a moving subject to capture a side view.
• Spotlight Mode: Locks the camera onto a selected subject and keeps it in the centre of the frame, while allowing you to focus on flying.
• Trace Mode: Allows the drone to constantly follow and capture a subject, from either the front, behind, or circle around it.
TapFly Mode
By simply tapping a point on the screen you can set the aircraft’s flight path. Any obstacles encountered on the way are avoided by the on-board Obstacle Avoidance system to keep your aircraft safe during its flight so that you can focus on controlling the camera and get the footage you want.
Gesture Mode
The Gesture Mode enables the quadcopter to be controlled with a series of simple gestures. To get a perfect natural selfie, all you have to do is raise your hands or wave to it. The drone can recognise your arm movements and take pictures while keeping you in the centre of the frame.
Draw
The Draw Mode allows you to set waypoints for the drone. Drawing a line on the touchscreen directs the quadcopter to follow the set route, either with the camera facing in the direction of the flight (Forward Draw Mode), or facing any direction (Free Draw Mode).
