Supports 4K

The Atomos Ninja Inferno 7-Inch 4K Monitor & Recorder is designed for DSLR and Mirrorless cameras like the Panasonic GH5, to enable the recording of clean uncompressed 10-Bit 4K video signals at frame rates of 24,25,30,50 and an impressive 60p. The unit allows the capture of 4K resolution video direct from your cameras sensor via a HDMI port. With support for both 4K UHD and 4K DCI resolutions you can be confident the Ninja Inferno captures the highest image quality and provides extensive editing and colouring flexibility.

AtomHDR Engine

The AtomHDR processing engine takes advantage of 10-bit LOG formats to re-produce 10 stops of dynamic range so that detail is maintained in both the shadows and the highlights. The Ninja Inferno can resolve HDR on-set to provide an accurate representation of the final shot, rather than the washed-out LOG image, helping to take guesswork out of your exposure settings.

4:2:2 ProRes & DNxHR via HDMI 2.0

The ability to record a 4K video signal via HDMI 2.0 to 4:2:2 10-bit ProRes or DNxHR codec means you can capture the highest quality straight from your sensor, without using the lossy built-in compression codecs on board the camera. The Ninja Inferno supports a range of Log formats from Sony SLog2, SLog3, Canon Clog, CLog 2, Arri Log C as well as Panasonic Vlog, JVC JLog, Red LogFilm
You can playback your footage via the HDMI 2.0 output directly to calibrated HDR or Rec709 monitors to review your shots.

Bright 1500nit 7-Inch Monitor

The Ninja Inferno is equipped with a calibrated touchscreen featuring a 1500 nit brightness that is about 4 times brighter than conventional monitor allowing you to preview your compositions even in harsh sunlight without a hood. Thanks to the quality display and a pixel resolution of 1920x1200, the monitor allows you to make on the spot decisions about the colour and exposure to ensure reduced work in post-production.

Multiple Audio Options

The Inferno allows you to connect to audio equipment by using an optional XLR breakout cable (not included) so you can run external microphones that require 48V phantom power to capture balanced analogue audio. The Inferno also provides control with dedicated meters and menus for audio channel selection as well as adjustments for frame delay and gain.

Easy Colour Calibrating On-Set and Editing

The recorder is compatible with the X-Rite calibration tool and can be connected to a non-linear editing system as a monitor for colour grading HDR footage in the post production setup.

Useful for a broad range of filmmakers and videographers, the Atomos Ninja Inferno is sure to improve your production values and efficiency whilst minimising your time in post-production. The kit includes a Travel case that offers protection while shooting on-location.
