The Aputure Light Storm LS 1s LED Video Light is a lightweight yet powerful light panel equipped with 1536 LEDs that deliver an impressive amount of light, nearly the same as a 1000w incandescent bulb. With a 45° spread, robust construction, dedicated control box, wireless remote, and the ability to attach a separate DMX controller, it’s a perfect solution both in and out of the studio.

Continuous Bright Light

The Aputure Light Storm LS 1s has 1536 LEDs that deliver a powerful 10500 lux measured at 1m from the light source. It features a 25° beam angle that can be further narrowed by using the barn doors on all 4 sides of the panel, allowing you to more effectively control the light spread.

Accurate Colour Reproduction

The Light Storm is daylight balanced with colour temperature control between 3200K and 5500K. With a high CRI rating of 95+, the LEDs provide accurate colour reproduction which is crucial for capturing natural, true-to-life tones when shooting portraits and product photography.

Dedicated Controller Box

The controller box has a dimmer dial allowing you to adjust the panel’s brightness between 10% and 100%. A digital display conveniently shows the light intensity and 2 antennas provide a strong signal for the wireless remote. DMX inputs also provide options for more advanced controls.

Wireless Remote Included

Another excellent feature is the included wireless remote which lets you power up the Light Storm panel and adjust brightness and colour temperature from 100m away. With 3 channels in 4 groups, you can control several Light Storm Panels individually from one remote.

Dual Power Options

The controller box of the LS 1s features a battery plate that accepts Sony V-Mount batteries (sold separately) for convenient, portable power. If you’re working indoors or in a studio, the light can also be powered by mains with an AC adapter.

10 Diffuser Sheets Included

10 sheets of diffusing paper are included, along with 5 clamps to attach them to the front of the light panel. This helps to soften the light for a more even, natural look. It’s especially convenient for quick shoots when you don’t have access to an umbrella or softbox.
