Encoding
The AJA HELO can encode up to 1080 60p H.264/MPEG-4 video at data rates from 32kbps to 256kbps with 2 channel stereo audio up to 24-bit 48kHz.The onboard encoding ensures bandwidth efficiency with widely compatible files that will work across tablets, smartphones, computers and Smart TVs natively.
Streaming
The AJA HELO makes streaming simple with USB connectivity and a web-based user-interface which allows you to configure your Content Delivery Network in advance.Once ready to stream, you can simply push the Stream Button and deliver your project through the ethernet connection with support for RTP/RTSP, RTMP, RTMPE for Facebook live as well as Unicast.
HTTP Live Streaming Support (HLS) provides compatibility for iOS and other devices.
A video preview window is available via the web based graphical user interface allowing you to see your content and ensure you are getting the video you are after.
Recording
The AJA HELO is able to record to a variety of mediums including SD, SDHC & SDXC cards; USB Storage, NFS, CIFS, or SMB via USB or SD card slot.A dedicated record button allows for immediate recording with the option for redundant recording to two media destinations for a backup.
