The Olympus HLD-6P Battery Grip is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 II. It features a shutter release button, control dials and customisable buttons that allow users to easily operate the camera in vertical orientation. Its ability to house a second battery (sold separately) doubles the normal shooting time while also adding the capability to continuously power the camera from AC mains. When shooting with two batteries, it will automatically switch to the second when the first is drained.

Doubles Shooting Time

The Olympus HLD-6P Grip accepts an extra BLN-1 battery to get you through a long day of shooting or filming. Functionality within the E-M5 II menu allows you to choose which battery to use first and when discharged, will automatically switch to the secondary battery, for a seamless, uninterrupted experience.

AC-3 AC Adapter for Mains Power Use

The grip can be used with the AC-3 AC adapter (sold separately) so the camera can draw on mains power for continuous shooting in a studio environment or for extended time-lapse sequences. 

Vertical Orientation Grip

Its ergonomic shape offers a comfortable, secure hold on the dust and splash-proof grip, while a shutter release button and control dial allow you to maintain familiar camera controlswhen shooting in portrait mode. Two customisable function buttons and a function lever can be programmed independently of those on the E-M5 Mark II Camera for added shortcuts to help streamline your shooting workflow.

Used With HLD-8G External Hand Grip

The HLD-6P Battery Grip can be piggy backed to a HLD-8G external hand grip (sold separately), which comes with a headphone jack for audio monitoring and playback convenience.
