The Fujifilm X-T20 captures excellent, DSLR quality photos, without the added size and weight. Lightweight and compact, the X-T20 is faster than ever with improved AF tracking and start-up time. The impressive list of features is perfect for enthusiasts and professional photographers alike.
24.3 Megapixel Sensor + X-Processor Pro
Improving on the previous model, the X-T20 now has a 24.3 megapixel APS-C sized X-Trans CMOS III sensor and an X-Processor Pro processing engine to deliver vivid, sharp images with an almost film like quality. Together, the upgraded sensor and processor deliver amazing, true-to-life colour reproduction, maximum image detail, and superior resolution.
Full HD and 4K Video at 30fps
When a photo just isn’t enough, the Fujifilm X-T20 now offers 4K video recording at 24 and 30fps that lets you capture every detail with amazing clarity. It still offers Full HD video recording at various frame rates including 24, 25, 30 and 60fps along with a high bit-rate of 36Mbps for additional creative versatility when editing.
Phase and Contrast Detect Autofocus
A newly rebuilt autofocus system uses phase detection AF technology for fast, reliable autofocus, with nearly double the number of focusing points than previous models. The X-T20 captures more detail in low light or low contrast scenarios.
Improved Continuous AF Functionality
With 91 focusing points, the camera employs Single focus mode, for photographing still objects, and Zone mode ideal for catching fast moving subjects in excellent detail. Combined with Improved Continuous Autofocus (AF-C) performance, you can customise the size and location of an AF zone whilst continuously focusing within that zone, which is great when trying to capture things that are always on the move, like kids and pets.
Tracking & Predictive AF Performance
Tracking focus and a predictive tracking setting are still available and utilise the entire 91-point AF area to continuously track a subject moving in all directions. This mode is suitable for sports or nature photography, allowing you to capture dynamic movement with razor-sharp clarity.
Fast, High Resolution DSLR-Style Viewfinder
The Fujifilm X-T20 uses a DSLR-style viewfinder to provide better shooting accuracy. Brightness settings are automatic, based on ambient light around you. The High-definition OLED EVF is incredibly fast, giving you a sharp, clear image. It has a 2.36-million dot resolution 0.62x magnification, and a lag time of just 0.005 seconds, so you can be sure that what you see is what you photograph.
3-inch Tilt LCD Touchscreen
The back of the camera now features a large 3-inch 1040k-dot tilting LCD touchscreen which makes shooting high or low angles easy. It’s bright and sharp in all kinds of lighting conditions, ensuring you have a good view of subjects and playback. The new touch option offers an even more intuitive photo taking experience, with touch focus and touch photo, control is literally at your fingertips.
Real-Time Image Preview Mode
A Preview Pic Effect simulates your aperture, shutter speed and ISO settings to give you a real-time preview of what your image will look like. This mode is great for beginners and enthusiasts who are still learning about exposure and how various camera settings can affect an image.
Built-in Film Simulations & Effects
Thanks to its improved processing capabilities, the X-T20’s built-in Film Simulation now results in smoother gradation and darker blacks for super-detailed monochrome images. 8 artistic filters are also available for even more creativity, along with a Grain Effect replicates that nostalgic ‘graininess’ of photographs taken with film cameras.
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows you to share photos with friends and family almost as fast as you can take them. Using the free Fujifilm Camera app, you can browse photos via your smartphone or tablet, then select and upload your favourites to social media sites, including Facebook and Flickr.
Wireless Remote Control
Download Fujifilm’s free Camera Remote app and control the camera right from your smartphone or tablet. Your phone screen becomes viewfinder and remote control allowing you adjust settings like shutter speed, aperture, exposure before focusing and taking the perfect shot.
Die-Cast Aluminium Construction
Both the top and base plates are made from a lightweight, yet rugged magnesium alloy for reliable durability. Three precision-milled aluminium dials on the top plate add to the premium look and feel of the Fujifilm X-T20, making it the ultimate combination of good looks and practicality.
