The Fujifilm X-E2 Twin Lens Kit features a Fujifilm X-E2 Mirrorless camera body, a Fujinon XF 18-55mm f/2.8-4.0 R OIS lens and a XF 18mm f/2 R lens. The kit offers the image quality and creative versatility of a traditional DLSR in a compact, lightweight package.

At its core is a high sensitivity 16 megapixel APS-C sized X-Trans CMOS II Sensor which captures vibrant, detail-rich images and Full High Definition video. The sensor eliminates the traditional optical low-pass filter by utilising a unique random pixel array to achieve the maximum level of image sharpness and clarity.

Processing power is double that of the previous generation and delivered via the EXR Processor II chip. Excellent low-light performance with a maximum ISO 25600 ensures reduced noise while shooting extended exposures and allows you to shoot in difficult lighting situations without worrying about a dramatic loss in image quality. The processor also ensures the camera is ready to capture the moment with a super-fast 0.5 second start up time, an ultra-short 0.05 second shutter lag and a maximum full resolution burst rate of 7fps.

An intelligent Hybrid AF system utilises both phase and contrast detection technologies to provide lightning-fast focus in as little as 0.08 seconds, making it easy to capture those fleeting candid moments with ease. A comprehensive 49-point focus matrix gives you the flexibility to creatively compose your shot without worrying about losing focus on your subject. Two methods are also available during manual focus including focus highlight peaking and a rangefinder style Digital Split Image system which utilises four striped focusing aids that need to be lined up to ensure sharp focus.

Lens Modulation Optimiser Technology is also built into the body of the XE2 to ensure optimal edge-to-edge resolution when using Fuji’s extensive range of XF Lenses. The optimiser processes the focal length and aperture data for each mounted lens to correct diffraction blur and increase sharpness in the lens periphery, resulting in stunning, detail-rich images with an increased sense of dimensional reality.

Built-in WiFi combined with the free Fujifilm Camera App allows you to share vivid, high quality images with your friends, family and favourite social networks from the convenience of your smartphone or tablet. A dedicated ‘one touch’ wireless transfer button enables straightforward wireless connectivity to your device, bypassing the usual range of complex menu options.
