HOW TO FIND US
Driving: Our store is located 30m south (city side) of the Separation Street / Athurton Road intersection. While parking is rarely an issue at our store, High Street does have clearways southbound (towards City) before 9.00am and northbound (away from city) after 4.30pm. Conveniently located at the rear of our shop is 2 hours Free Parking (enter via Athurton Road).
Train: Northcote railway station is only 450 m from our store. On the “South Morang line” we are only 18 minutes from the Melbourne CBD. If you are coming from the city direction, you will need to turn right after leaving Northcote Station crossing the railway lines and walk along Athurton Road to High Street. Turn right at High Street – we are only 40m from the corner.
Bus: The number 86 tram (City – Bundoora) passes right outside our front door. Coming from Bourke Street the heart of the CBD you need to alight at stop number 33. The tram takes around 30 minutes from the city.
MEET OUR TEAM
I started working in the photographic industry in 2007 while studying a visual arts degree in Canberra at the ANU. I went on to complete the degree, and have since undertaken residencies and exhibited in Canberra, Brisbane, Melbourne and Chicago. I work in both photography and video, and use film and digital processes. I use a variety of cameras, depending on the needs of the project, but Canon, Fuji, Olympus, and Elinchrom gear would be my staples.
I run the Melbourne teaching and workshop program at DCW, so if you are interested in learning about a new aspect of photography come in and have a chat, we might have a class already lined up, or I could also do a one on one lesson. We do both all day workshops like going down to the Great Ocean Rd or the Otways and studio based classes focusing on working with models, lighting, photographing wildlife... the list goes on.
I love chatting all things photography, be they digital or film photography, lighting, visual arts, artwork documentation, landscapes or working with models, so come by the store and say hi.
