I have just had to return my Leica V Lux 40 under warranty and there was a difficulty in replacement as it is no longer available from Leica. Leica replaced my camera with one that did not have the features that I use frequently. Janet Sydney from Digital Warehouse has been absolutely fantastic in solving this problem and treated me with empathy and respect, which was greatly appreciated. I have found the service provided both on the phone and in store has been exceptional. Not only have the staff provided good advice but additional information was given to further advance my very basic photographic knowledge. I was amazed to receive my camera that I ordered at 2:30pm WST (4:30pm EST) at my door next day at 2:30pm in WA. As with the last reviewer Jared this was not expected but really pleasing. Also had an account question and that was really speedily, accurately and efficiently replied to by Janet. Vincent at the call centre was so helpful with advice and information that I had no hesitation in doing the purchase with him. The website had all info I needed and after doing a lot of research it was accurate and complete. Thank you I will definitely deal with Digital Camera Warehouse for any other purchases. The total experience was way better than 4 other places I contacted on the basis of other reviews on the web. |

I usually don't bother with feedback (too lazy) but after receiving my camera less than 24hrs after ordering online, I was completely amazed. I was more than happy to wait the mentioned "up to 5 business days" but instead went from ordering Wednesday afternoon to receiving delivery Thursday morning (shipped from Melbourne to Perth). And to think I had just finished a disappointing week and a half of dealing with another website that ended up telling me they were out of stock. This is absolutely first port of call from now on! |

I went into the Canterbury store back in January to purchase a basic compact camera, however after Antonio showed me differences between a compact and a SLR camera and spent time with me demonstrating how to use the actual camera I didn't mind spending the extra money and buying myself a GREAT SLR to take nice pics of the family. I phoned about information on mirror less digital cameras and spoke to Travis. This man is so helpful and knowledgeable it is amazing. Travis (not sure if I am spelling his name correctly) quickly worked out my needs and made a couple of recommendations that were totally different to what I originally had in mind. He outlined the features and benefits of his recommended models and the reasons as to why these would be more suitable for me. The one I have now chosen is not yet released but I will be informed when it comes in and will purchase with lenses from you company. The prices seem excellent and the service second to none. |

Absolutely amazing prices (even better than grey imports) and service. I ordered a lens via the website for pick up at the Northcote Victoria store. A couple of hours later I received a phone call and then an email advising it was ready for collection. As soon as I stepped in the store and said I had an order awaiting collection the staff member knew who I was and called me by name, he was also very knowledgeable in regards to photography and made sure to offer filters etc for lens and to also advise me about extended warranty. I just received my Nikon 200-400 VRII lens and I was extremely impressed with the customer service. This was my first order from Digital Camera Warehouse as my normal supplier was unable to source this lens in time for when I needed it for an assignment. I phoned and spoke with Daniel, who was able to arrange next flight delivery for me (at additional cost of course) so that I received the lens here in Townsville from their Sydney store same day. I ordered the lens at 11.00am, I received the lens at 11pm. I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service that I received. When I said I needed the lens today shipped half way across the country, Daniel was on to it instantly. Very happy customer. I will be looking at using Digital Camera Warehouse in the future for more of my camera purchases. |

I rang your Sydney 1300 number on 30 September to seek info re a Pentax camera plus accessories. The person I spoke to promised to get back to me, after doing some homework, and to my surprise, did so, late in the day. He must surely have been working after hours. I placed an order with him that day.
Right on the dot of 9 am Oct 1st, I received a call from your Brisbane Shop telling me my order was ready for pickup. I drove in over 100 km to collect the order and was greeted with courtesy and professionalism by the gentleman there.
This was not the experience I had at certain other Camera Houses in the previous week. I just wanted to thank your staff for their professionalism and courtesy, to wish all of you well, and to let you know I have already recommended your store to two other people. But it seemed that the lens was mostly not going to be available in Australia until after I left. DCW was one of the few places who had the lens. (I was able to get the last lens of their current, but small, consignment.) Not only that, they offered a excellent price for both the lens and the camera. I probably saved a couple of hundred dollars compared to what some of the other retailers were charging (or proposing to charge when the lens arrived). After having confirmed availability with Catherine and placing the order over the phone with her on a Wednesday morning, both the camera and lens arrived the following morning! I then looked at the recommended accessories which were provided (very helpful if you are unsure what to purchase compatibility wise) and found some bargain deals on memory cards and ended up going to the full 8 gig for $67.00 (normally a lot more than that in other stores from what I can recall and researched online) and a gorilla tripod which I am yet to use but looks impressive. Ordered on 11 December, received the camera and all assessories (except warranty documents) 17 December - considering this is the week before Xmas, that's still fast! Phoned the shop to check stock level before ordering via the website, the young lady on the phone was very friendly and helpful and also made me aware that I could buy a slower (and cheaper) SD for this particular camera. The goods were packed safely and arrived undamaged. I'm quite impressed with the camera! My previous camera was a Powershot A75 which I really liked. It broke down after 2 1/2 years of use - I had extended the warranty to 3 years, so that was lucky. The A720 as the A75 has the option of adjusting pretty much everything manually and that was something I wanted in the new camera as well. The A720's 6x optical zoom, image stabilizer and other features are such a big step forward from the A75! I'm still exploring. The A75 was a bit slow in taking the picture, especially photographing moving objects was tricky - the A720 is much faster (still not as fast as the old 35mm cameras, though). The colors are brilliant and correct as you expect from Canon. The setup menus have a lot more items compared to the old camera, but the structure is the same, so I felt "at home" immediately. I am very happy with the camera and Digitalcamerawarehouse's service. I reocmmend the camera and the recommend the shop!" | Pricing: | Excellent |

"We purchased 23 Kodak Z740 last year. All cameras have been in service since then with adult community education groups in NE Victoria and the feedback we are getting is uniformly excellent. Most are being used in digital story telling involving their still shot capacity and video capabilities. Most of the users are far from expert but all report no difficulties.
