The Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Lens is part of the Contemporary range. Its compact design, lightweight construction and versatile focal range make it the perfect choice for travel photography and excellent in everyday shooting scenarios.
Designed for APS-C sized sensors, the lens features a versatile 35mm equivalent focal range of 29-320mm. Its wide-angle to telephoto ability ensures you are equipped to cover the most common photographic situations. A minimum focusing distance of 39cm combined with a magnification ratio of 1:3 enables you to explore the world of macro photography and really get creative with your images.
A built-in optical stabiliser (OS) minimises camera shake to ensure consistently sharp images. This is especially useful at the telephoto end of the zoom and when shooting macro images, where any camera movement is magnified. A Hyper Sonic Motor provides fast and accurate autofocusing, ideal for shooting video.
Vivid, razor sharp images are delivered through the use of Special Low Dispersion Glass (SLD) which correct chromatic aberrations and a Super Multi-Layer Anti-Reflective Coating that reduces flare and ghosting to deliver better clarity and increased contrast. A 7 blade rounded diaphragm delivers a silky smooth out-of-focus background which produces beautifully out-of-focus background effects that removes distracting backgrounds and ensures your subject is the focal point of the image.
Compatible with the Sigma USB Dock, the 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM Contemporary Lens can be conveniently updated with the latest firmware and fine-tuned to ensure the autofocus is optimised for your camera body.
