The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT30 is a rugged and easy-to-use compact camera that’s perfect for both outdoor adventures and for photographing normal day-to-day. With a versatile 4x optical zoom range, and 220mb of built-in storage, and excellent proofing against all elements, this camera is always ready to capture your most treasured moments.
16.1 Megapixel Sensor
Featuring a 16.1 Megapixel sensor, this camera is capable of taking detailed photographs that can be printed large. The wide-angle 25mm equivalent lens lets you fit more into each image whether it be sweeping visuals of landscapes and nature or large group photos with family and friends. A 2.7-inch LCD screen helps you frame both stills and HD video footage that you capture exactly as you saw it.
Sealed Against the Elements
With excellent environmental seals, this camera is capable of going almost anywhere. Bring it with you underwater down to 8 metres depth. The wide angle lens is able to capture underwater marine life up close, and the camera is compact and light enough for any swimming or snorkelling day at the beach.
The rugged camera is also dustproof, shockproof up to a height of 1.5 metres, and freezeproof down to -10°C. Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, this camera can be brought along to the snow for worry free use. It’s an excellent travel companion.
Advanced Underwater Mode
An advanced underwater mode can be utilised to enhance the colours of photos and video footage taken in blue waters. When underwater, red colour reproduction suffers due to the properties of light with water. The camera compensates and adds red back into photos, resulting in more vivid colours and scenery in movies and stills.
Underwater video footage can be bolstered with the inclusion of an integrated torch, which can be used to light particularly dark scenes both in and out of water.
Optical Image Stabilisation
Mega Optical Image Stabilisation with 5-axis correction is able to minimise camera shake in stills and video to ensure blur free images and smoother video.
Creative and Artistic Modes
The Panasonic DMC FT-30 compact camera gives users the ability to exercise their creative and artistic vision with a number of creative retouch filters and modes. Explore dynamic monochrome, cross processing, miniature and many other effects.
For videos, a time lapse video mode can be used to make stunning landscape and scenic videos that compress a series of images over a long period of time into a short video – watch the sunrise break over an early morning city, or a 30 second clip of weekend adventures with your friends and family.
