Available in black or sliver, the Fujifilm X100T is made in Japan and encased in FUJIFILM’s distinctive
X Series classic retro-style body. Die-cast magnesium is used for the top and bottom of the body, while a special surface finish coating creates a premium feel.
The X100T allows accurate manual focusing whilst using the optical viewfinder. In optical viewfinder mode an optional, smaller inset digital display allows the user to focus the image manually using the camera's focusing ring. Focus Peaking or the Digital Split Image options may also be used in this mode.
To avert parallax error, which occurs during close-up shooting, Real-time Parallax Correction has been added for more accurate framing and automatic real time correction. Reframing after focusing is no longer necessary.
Reduced display time lag, automatic brightness control, and enhanced Live View settings have also been added to the electronic viewfinder to provide a more comfortable shooting experience.
Visibility has improved under a variety of conditions, from bright scenes outdoors to dark scenes indoors, by automatically controlling finder brightness. The image within the finder is smoother in low light conditions as it is displayed at the maximum frame rate possible.
Setting the aperture in 1/3 steps is now done using the aperture ring, instead of the command lever. The exposure compensation dial has been extended to ±3 stops. The command lever is now a command dial, and with the addition of a four-way controller, operability has dramatically improved.
Each of the seven Fn buttons is customisable, while the rear LCD has been upgraded to a 3-inch, 1.04 million-dot screen, greatly improving visibility.
Fujifilm’s unique Film Simulation modes mimic the effects of photographic films to reproduce warm skin tones, bright blue skies and rich green trees. Classic Chrome has also been added to the arsenal to deliver muted tones and deep colours.
The Fujifilm X100T ticks all the boxes, delivering a high performance, premium compact camera with a range of advanced features that produce exceptional image quality.
•Silent electronic shutter capable of exposures up to 1/32000 seconds, expanding the shooting range. Photos with a shallow depth of field can now be shot with the aperture wide open on snowy fields or the beach under clear skies.
•16.3 megapixel X-Trans CMOS II sensor controls moiré and fake colours with the
X-Trans colour filter in which RGB pixels are randomly arranged. Combined with the image processing engine EXR Processor II, the X100T delivers images with impressive levels of sharpness and low noise. To reduce noise at high sensitivities, a setting of the highest ISO 512002 has been made possible, reproducing tight black colours.
•A specially designed FUJINON 23mm (approximately 35mm in 35mm format equivalent)
F2 lens has an optimal optical design that delivers high levels of sharpness from the centre to the edges of the frame. With eight glass elements in six groups, images display minimal aberrations, along with high sharpness, and beautiful colour reproduction.
•By placing AF phase detection pixels on the X-Trans CMOS II sensor, AF speeds of approximately 0.08 seconds are possible. Intelligent Hybrid AF automatically switches between image phase detection AF and contrast AF depending on the subject and scene, enabling high speed and high precision AF on every scene. The X100T also starts up in approximately 0.5 seconds, has a shutter time lag of about 0.1 seconds, and offers a shooting interval of approximately 0.5 seconds.
•The X100T is capable of high-speed continuous shooting of a maximum of 6fps (25 frames continuously during JPEG shooting) using the full 16.3 megapixels.
•Full HD video with the X-Trans CMOS II sensor. Videos can also be shot with the optical viewfinder, and film simulation modes can be used for creative colour effects. Manual exposure is also optional during video shooting.
•Built in WiFi3 for shooting from smartphone or tablet devices4 – download the free FUJIFILM Camera Remote app to your smart phone or tablet device and use the Remote Control function for such shots as group photos, self-portraits, and animals in their natural habitat.
There are also 11 different Film Simulation modes, Multiple Exposure mode, advanced filter functions, interval timing shooting and built-in Super Intelligent Flash.
