The Fujifilm X-T1 is a high performance, weather resistant, interchangeable lens camera designed to satisfy the demands of serious enthusiasts and seasoned professionals. Reminiscent of classic SLR film cameras, the design, ergonomics and build quality represent the ultimate fusion of style, functionality and precision craftsmanship.
At the heart of the X-T1 lies a large 16.3 megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS II Sensor which features a randomised pixel array design to eliminate the need for an optical low pass filter (OLPF). This design optimises pixel sensitivity resulting in maximum image sharpness and clarity.
An advanced Lens Modulation Optimizer (LMO) recognises compatible lenses mounted to the camera body and analyses the lens focal length, aperture used and data from the centre of the image to the edges to automatically correct diffraction blur and periphery softness. The end result is spectacular images with outstanding edge-to-edge detail and sharpness with a true sense of dimensional reality.
The EXR Processor II features a dual CPU design which effectively doubles the computational power of the previous generation. This delivers a blistering camera start-up and shot interval time of just 0.5 seconds and shutter lag of only 0.05 seconds to ensure you are always ready to capture that decisive moment.
Five dials have been intuitively arranged on the top of the camera to provide maximum control over your exposure settings and camera modes. Dedicated dials for shutter speed, exposure compensation, ISO sensitivity and a custom function button for fast, convenient access to your most commonly utilised menu items ensures everything you need to take the perfect shot is at your fingertips.
An innovative viewfinder design is coupled with a redesigned graphical user interface to provide a truly immersive shooting experience. Featuring a 2.36million-dot OLED electronic viewfinder (EVF) and a lag time of just 0.005 seconds ensures what you see is what you capture. Four different viewfinder modes provide the versatility to allow you to choose the best setting based on your shooting scenario. The redesigned interface delivers exposure information and shooting tools such as a framing guidelines and a live histogram directly to the eyepiece, ensuring you have an accurate overview of your camera settings at a glance.
The rear of the camera houses a large, high resolution LCD screen. Constructed with reinforced glass for added protection and durability, the screen has a 1.04 million-dot resolution and features a tilting design for to make shooting from low or high angles much easier.
Built-in WiFi connectivity enables instant photo sharing capabilities with your friends and family. Using it in conjunction with the free Fujifilm Camera app allows you to uploading your images to popular social networking sites such as Facebook and Flickr. Wireless communication can be further utilised in combination with the Fujifilm Camera Remote app to control the camera from a distance. Your compatible smartphone or tablet becomes a remote viewfinder and remote control allowing you to shoot photos and video as well as adjust focus, shutter speed, aperture, exposure compensation and ISO.
Its strong yet lightweight die-cast magnesium body is sealed in approximately 80 areas to deliver a durable shell that is water resistant, dust resistant and capable of withstanding temperatures as low as -10°.
Made in Japan, the Fujifilm XT1 is fully compatible with the entire range of XF lenses and X-series accessories ensuring it will become a cult classic that will remain in your kit for years to come.
