The DJI Mavic 2 Zoom is the first DJI drone to feature a lens with an 2x optical zoom but that isn’t all it offers. It also delivers a massive 8km transmission range thanks the new Ocusync 2.0 System, a fast 72km/h top speed as well as a 31minute flight time, which is the longest of any current consumer drone.

Creative Aerial Flexibility

With a 1/2.3-inch 12 megapixel sensor, the Mavic 2 Zoom camera features a range of 24-48mm for expansive wide angle footage and the flexibility to zoom in closer for better mid-range shots. The telephoto end of the lens compresses perspective for epic, cinematic-looking shots. DJI’s latest 3-axis gimbal technology keeps your videos smooth, steady, and easy to watch.

Up to 4x Zoom in Lossless Full HD

The optical zoom can also be combined with a digital zoom to produce lossless Full HD results with a 4x zoom range. This allows you to get up close and personal with your subject without risking your drone by flying too close.

Fast, Accurate Focus

The Mavic 2 Zoom’s camera features hybrid autofocus which combines two AF styles, phase and contrast detection, to form a system that works quickly and accurately while you’re flying. Advanced tracking ensures your subjects stay sharp and in focus, even while moving or zooming in and out.

Dolly Zoom Mode

Capture a dolly zoom shot made famous by Alfred Hitchcock and Jaws. The dolly zoom technique changes the way the lens compression affects the background of the shot while keeping the subject in the same frame, it is a powerful shot.

Super Resolution Still Images

A new feature on board the Mavic 2 Zoom is Super Resolution. Made for capturing still photos at the 24mm field of view, the camera captures nine separate images using the telephoto lens and stitches them together to form a 48 Megapixel super resolution photo. This is perfect for creating amazing and detailed photos that look more true to life than standard panoramic shots.

Fly Faster, Longer, and Further

The DJI Mavic Zoom 2 has an impressive top speed of 72km/h and a long 31-minute flight time that is the longest for any consumer drone currently on the market. It also has the new DJI OcuSync 2.0 Transmission System with enables you to fly the drone up to 8km away without losing signal to the controller.

Advanced Propulsion

DJI’s Mavic 2 has a new propulsion system that’s been tested in extreme conditions. With a fully charged battery, it can fly distances up to 18km in windless conditions. The drone is rated to resist winds of up to 38kph, helping you get your perfect shot even when the weather is less than ideal.

OcuSync 2.0 Transmission System

Also new is the OcuSync 2.0 transmission system which allows the aircraft to fly up to 8km away from the controller while still maintaining a Full HD live stream for piloting. It switches between 2.4 and 5.8 Ghz wireless frequencies to provide the strongest possible connection. The new system is also compatible with the DJI Goggles and DJI Goggles RE for advanced POV piloting.

Omni-directional Obstacle Detection

The Mavic 2 has obstacle sensors on all sides making it safer to fly than ever. Dual vision sensors on the front and rear, along with single vision sensors on the sides, help detect obstacles up to 20m away. The top of the drone has an infrared sensor with an 8m range, while the bottom features dual vision and infrared sensors, as well as a new auxiliary LED for landing assistance in lowlight.

Includes DJI Smart Controller

This kit includes an upgrade of the standard Mavic 2 controller to a DJI Smart Controller.  Taking your flying confidence to the next level, the Smart Controller offers a ultra-bright 1000cd/m 5.5-inch Full HD quality screen, enabling you to see exactly what you’re shooting regardless of the time of day.

Intelligent Flight and Capture Modes

Active Track 2.0
The new Active Track 2.0 mode offers precision accuracy by mapping a 3-dimensional view using the main camera and forward sensors. Using a predictive algorithm, the drone actively tracks your subject even if its view is momentarily blocked. Combined with high-speed tracking and obstacle sensing, Active Track 2.0 is the most advanced tracking system yet.

Hyperlapse
Choose from four different hyperlapse modes; free, circle, course lock, and waypoint. These images are also conveniently compiled in camera. You can also save the RAW images for individual processing if you prefer. It’s even possible to save a flight path to be recreated again in future.

HDR
This mode blends a series of photos together with a range of different exposure settings to deliver images with a wider dynamic range and better clarity. The Mavic Zoom can capture an impressive 13 stops of Dynamic Range in this mode.

HyperLight
Designed for low-light photography, this mode can enhance your photos by reducing noise. This results in brighter images with more clarity and better detail, even at night.

Panoramas
Four different Panorama modes allow you to capture a range of different shots. You can choose from Sphere, 180°, Horizontal and Vertical Panoramic modes.

POI 2.0
Using GPS co-ordinates and vision processing technology the new Point-Of-Interest mode allows you to select and circle a subject with less setup than ever.

Waypoint 2.0
An updated Waypoint mode removes the need to actually fly the drone to the each point to lock in the route. Now, it’s as simple as tapping waypoints on a map and designating your point of interest.

Asteroid
Asteroid is a brand new mode which starts with a zoomed out “Tiny Planet” style image. The drone then descends in a swift circular movement, spinning towards your point of interest to get in close for a unique and dramatic subject reveal.

Boomerang
This new mode spins around and flies away from a subject before returning to its original position.

All these new intelligent flight and capture modes ensure that the DJI Mavic 2 Zoom make capturing incredible, high-quality aerial footage and stills easier than ever.
