Key Features

Waterproof, Shockproof, Dustproof - Waterproof to a depth of 3 m for 60 minutes. Impact-resistant design that can withstand drops from heights of 1.5 m. Dustproof so you can get the camera dirty without worrying – just wash it off later. Safely take pictures anywhere indoors or out with the Ricoh PX!
28mm Wide-Angle 5x Optical Zoom Lens – Fit more in the picture with the 28mm wide lens. Great for group shots, underwater, landscapes - any situation where you need to capture more of the image. Extends to 140mm telephoto so you can zoom in to distant subjects. Internal zoom means the lens doesn’t protrude from the front of the camera making it very pocketable.
16 Megapixel Sensor – coupled with the Smooth Imaging IV image processing engine can reproduce any scene in high resolution. Noise reduction reduces noise for clear results even in night shots.
Sensor Shift Image Stabiliser - reduces the effects of camera-shake for sharper photos when shooting at full zoom, or when lighting is poor.
2.7 Inch Scratch-resistant LCD Screen – The PX is equipped with a high-contrast, high-resolution, 2.7-inch, 230k-dot LCD monitor with a wide viewing angle and a hard coating that resists scratches, giving you peace of mind.
Easy-to-use – plenty of automatic scene modes and intuitive, easy-to-understand controls allow even beginners to use the camera with confidence.
Premium Shot Modes - available for up to 28 scenes, including a hand-held night scene mode that uses four-pixel interpolation for beautiful shots of night scenery, modes for cooking, sweets, sports, items being sold at auction, parties, and pets. Also some great filters such as cross-process, sepia, B&W, soft focus for creative effects.
Subject Tracking AF - automatically tracks moving subjects, ensuring that photographs are in focus and correctly exposed - ideal for shots of active children, sports and animals.
Face Detection - focuses on and sets correct exposure and white balance for faces (up to 8) rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background.
Three Aspect Ratios – select from standard 4:3, 16:9 for wide screen shots, or square 1:1 aspect ratio to suit the scene you are photographing.
Rate Your Favourite Photos - Pictures can be assigned any one of three ratings. Pictures can be viewed in order by rating for organizing your playback.
Calendar Playback - makes it instantly clear when photos were taken.
Optional Protective Jackets - Express yourself and give your camera added protection with replaceable, shock-absorbing colour-coded protective jackets.
Micro HDMI Output – playback photos and movies on your HDTV using optional micro HDMI cable HC-1.

USB Charging – camera’s battery can be charged whilst connected to USB charger or to a computer’s USB port.
