Ricoh’s latest model in its award-winning CX series digital cameras, the Ricoh CX-5, offers photographers a newhybrid autofocus system that delivers fast AF (0.2 secs) right across the large 10.7x optical zoom range of its 28-300mm equivalent lens. When used in combination with Subject Tracking AF the CX-5 nails focus whether you’re shooting wildlife, kids at play, or a sports match. The CX-5 also boasts a 10 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor with exceptional low-light capabilities, a beautiful high-resolution 920,000-dot 3.0 inch LCDscreen, and optical image stabilisation that achieves up to 3.7 stops of compensation. New Food,Fireworks and Golf Swing scene modes round out the CX5’s other new features along with 720p HD movie shooting.

Movie Feature – captures HD video with audio up to 1280x720p resolution at 30 frames per second. Maximum recording length is up to 29 minutes or 4gb file size, whichever occurs first. Expect to get around 25 minutes of HD footage on an 8GB SDHC memory card*.

* We recommend using class 6 or higher memory cards for recording high definition video.
