The Olympus VR-310 is a compact digital camera equipped with advanced shooting functions, such as HD movies, a full array of Auto functions, and a large 3 inch LCD monitor. The VR-310 is the perfect camera for those situations when you need a small camera with a powerful zoom. Capture weddings, holidays and sporting events with a 10x optical zoom lens with 24mm super wide-angle, contained in a compact body that can fit easily into your pocket or handbag. Dual Image Stabilisation helps to ensure crisp, sharp handheld shots and in-camera Magic Filters add some creative flair to your shots.

| What are the features and how will they benefit you? 14 Megapixel CCD Sensor – high resolution sensor allows you to print large or crop images a lot without losing details. Dual Image Stabilisation – optical CCD shift image stabiliser plus high ISO (1600) work together to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement, or when shooting in low-light conditions. Also important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end. 10x Optical Zoom 24mm Wide Angle Lens – Zoom in to very distant objects so you can fill the frame with your subject; or with 24mm super wide angle you can fit in the frame sweeping landscapes, large groups of people, interior shots and architecture. Face Detection - focuses on faces (up to 12) rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background. AF tracking even memorises the subject when it goes out of frame and resumes tracking when it reappears. Shadow Adjustment Technology - brightens shadowy areas in a composition without overexposing the brighter areas. Intelligent Auto (iAuto) - Automatically identifies the scene you’re shooting – from 6 possible scenes – and adjusts the camera settings for optimal results. This saves fiddling in menus for the correct scene mode. AF Tracking - Keeps focus locked on a moving subject – good for sports, wildlife, kids, pets etc. Magic Filter Effects - Get creative with your photography – select one of the magic filters to add expression to your photos. Choose from Pop Art, Pin Hole, Fish Eye, Soft Focus, Sparkle, Punk or Drawing effects. Pet Mode - automatically detects dogs’ and cats’ faces and takes the shot at the best possible timing.
