Featuring a high-quality Fujinon HD lens with 10x optical zoom and 27mm wide-angle, and a 12 Megapixel Super CCD EXR sensor, the Fujifilm Finepix F80EXR packs award winning EXR quality into a super-stylish compact body. The F80EXR’s sensor gives you wide dynamic range for improved capture of highlights and shadows in high contrast scenes, whilst also delivering high sensitivity with low-noise for exceptional low-light photography. And its Dual image Stabilisation helps to reduce blurring from camera shake or subject movement. The F80EXR has many useful scene modes, or just simply use EXR Auto and the camera will recognize the scene and select the most appropriate mode automatically. Face Recognition technology ensures great portrait shots as well as a new Dog/Cat Detection mode to deliver perfect pet shots. Movie Feature – captures high definition video with audio up to 1280x720p resolution at 24 frames per second. Movie recording will stop automatically when the movie file size becomes approx. 2GB*. Maximum recording time is up to 10 mins for HD movies. EXR Auto - automatically recognizes the scene and selects the ideal shooting mode. Also "switches" the sensor to the perfect capture mode for the conditions. Dual Image Stabilisation – CCD Shift plus electronic stabilisation both work to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement or when shooting in low-light conditions. Also important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end. Film Simulation Mode – Simulate the distinctive look of 5 different film types with just a touch of a button. Modeled on Fujifilm brands loved by professional photographers. Tracking Auto Focus - Keeps fast moving subjects in the frame and in focus, even when the zoom is fully extended. Pro Focus Mode - This focus-bracketing mode emulates the gentle, out-of-focus background look of a DSLR when shooting portraits or macro subjects. Pro Low-Light Mode - Ideal for shooting non-moving subjects in low light, this mode automatically takes a series of four high-sensitivity & low-noise exposures and then combines them into an image with less noise than the single exposures. Face Detection with Face Recognition – High speed face detection focuses and sets correct exposure on faces (up to 10), whatever their orientation, rather than other objects that may appear in the frame. Register up to 8 individuals and Face Recognition will prioritise those faces in your shots. Auto Dog/Cat Detection - the F80EXR is able to detect dog or cat faces*, optimising focus and exposure for pet photos that will delight everyone. An auto-release function can also be selected to automatically shoot the photo when the pet is looking directly at the camera. Auto Red-eye Removal – automatically removes red-eye in-camera. Great if you’re printing directly from the camera or memory card. Super Intelligent Flash - lets you take macro shots with the ideal balance of flash output and sensitivity. Integrated in the Auto mode, this next-generation flash system captures both the subject and background in bright, clear details over the full flash range include ultra close-ups.
