The impressive 15x optical zoom lens of the Nikon Coolpix L110 covers a wide focal range from 28mm wide-angle to 420mm super-telephoto enabling the user to capture a broad range of photographic situations from group shots or sweeping landscapes to zooming right into the action when photographing sports or wildlife for instance. Nikon’s 5-way VR Image Stabilisation System helps to ensure your shots are blur-free, even when shooting at full zoom, in low-light, or when capturing moving subjects. Sport Continuous Mode allows the user to shoot up to 20 consecutive images at a rate of 11.1 frames per second to ensure you don’t miss a shot. Compose and review your photos on the large high-resolution 460,000-dot 3.0” LCD Screen with wide viewing angle and Clear Colour Display anti-glare coating. The L110 is extremely power efficient with the ability to shoot approximately 840 still images or record up to 7 hours HD movie footage using the supplied AA lithium batteries. RRP $299.

28mm Wide-Angle 15x Optical Zoom Lens – cover a wide range of shooting situations from wide-angle to capture more in your image – such as group shots, landscapes, tight interior shots - to super-telephoto where you can zoom right up close to distant objects.
Optical Image Stabilisation – Lens shift VR (Vibration Reduction) works to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands - important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end.
Motion Detection - camera detects camera shake and subject movement, and automatically compensates by controlling shutter speed and ISO sensitivity to control blurring.
High ISO up to 6400 - helps when shooting in low light or capturing fast-moving subjects.
Smart Portrait System– Complete range of automated functions for great portrait shots including: Red-eye Fix, Face Priority AF, Smile Mode and Blink Warning, D-Lighting.
Red-Eye Fix - automatically analyzes the captured image for the presence of red-eye and corrects it before saving the image to memory – great if printing from the memory card or directly from the camera to printer using PictBridge.
Face Priority AF – focuses and sets correct exposure on faces (up to 12) rather than other objects that may appear in the frame.
Smile Mode and Blink Warning – In Smile Mode camera takes photo as soon as someone in the frame smiles; Blink Warning displays a warning message if someone in the frame has their eyes closed.
D-Lighting - rescues underexposed images or shots taken with excessive backlight by adding light and detail where necessary while leaving correctly-exposed areas untouched.
Best Shot Selector (BSS) - automatically takes up to 10 shots while the shutter is pressed and saves the sharpest image.
Scene Auto Selector – Automatically detects and selects the correct scene mode for the shooting conditions – saves fiddling around in menus for the right settings.
Easy Auto mode - optimises all camera settings according to the light you are shooting in.
1cm Macro – take stunning close-ups as near as 1cm away from subject.
