Velbon Telephoto Lens Support #SPT-1
Lightweight adjustable mount designed to support both camera body and long telephoto lenses that have a tripod mount adapter ring. It features an adjustable column to easily change height between lens and D-SLR body for perfect fit and balance.
- Usable as a quick release plate on top of Velbon Fluid Heads FHD-71Q and FHD-61Q (in conjunction with suitable tripod)
- Can be used as an independent unit for simultaneously holding camera body and lens to prevent blur from camera shake
- Compact design and Aluminium construction ensures the support is both lightweight and strong
- Includes soft carrying pouch, 3/8 inch tripod mount adapter, tool for changing tripod mount adapters.
*note: not suitable for use if:
· Height of lens tripod mount ring is greater than will allow connection of lens mount to camera body with a maximum clearance of 64mm from baseplate of SPT-1 to bottom of camera body.
· If the distance between centre of camera body mount thread and centre of rearmost lens tripod ring mount thread is less than 60mm.
· If the distance between centre of camera body mount thread and centre of frontmost lens tripod ring mount thread is greater than 175mm.
