A removable waistpack serves in two ways: first as a traditional backpack lid, providing extra security and weather protection; and as a removable/wearable waistpack with a mesh-covered backpad, two roomy pockets and a key clip.
Superior-quality technical fabrics—like ballistic nylon and Hypalon®--are strategically placed at stress points to offer strength and resilience during heavy outdoor use and travel. Heavy-duty YKK splashguard zippers on the main compartment provide superior water resistance. The Pro Trekker 400 AW includes a patented All Weather AW Cover™ with cinch straps protects the pack from the elements.
Lowepro’s exclusive adjustable-torso harness system, with the Pack Jack™ tool, provides a fully customized and comfortable fit. Using the tool, the wearer can shorten or lengthen the distance between shoulders and hips. A 10-point adjustment system lets you customize fit at the top of pack, shoulders, torso, sternum, waist and lumbar areas. The waistbelt is removable and adjustable and includes thick, mesh-covered padding to provide comfort and wick away moisture. A removable, checkpoint-friendly laptop sleeve fits in a front pocket.
