Exmor CMOS sensor
Performs analog-to-digital conversion of image data on the chip itself, protecting that data from noise. This translates into cleaner images and more faithful image reproduction. The strong low light performance of the Exmor CMOS sensor allows you to achieve amazing results in any shooting environment.
Quick AF Live View
Allows you to compose your shots on the variable angle LCD monitor , instead of only through the optical viewfinder. Unlike live view systems found on other DSLR cameras, Quick AF Live View offers nearly instantaneous autofocus response. Your creativity can be unleashed as the variable angle LCD monitor can be tilted up or down, making it easy to frame your subject even when taking high-position and low-position shots.
SteadyShot Inside
Image stabilization is incorporated into the camera body. It is effective with any a lens, wide-angle, telephoto, or macro, and enables sharp imaging at shutter speeds 2.5–3.5 steps slower than would otherwise be possible without using a tripod or flash.
BIONZ
Is a high speed image processing engine that delivers superb image detail and colours that will amaze with their true to life fidelity.
D Range Optimiser
Helps capture a natural level of shadow and highlight detail that more realistically represents the tonal range of human vision, making it ideal for portraits.
Auto HDR
Allows you to explore the world of high dynamic range photography. Capturing and reproducing an exceptionally wide range of shadow and highlight detail in a scene is now a breeze as in this mode, 2 images are taken in rapid succession. One captures the shadow detail and another captures highlight detail. They are combined to produce a breathtaking, true-to life image.
7 frames/sec Burst Mode
Enables quick continuous shooting of up to 7 frames per second at full 14.2 megapixel resolution, allowing you to capture every moment of the action with incredible detail.
