What are the features and how will they benefit you? |

Optical Image Stabilisation plus High ISO – dual image stabilising technology works to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement, or when shooting in low-light conditions or at full zoom.
Face Motion Detection – focuses and sets correct exposure and white balance for faces (up to 8) rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background. Face Motion Detection increases sensitivity and shutter speed when it detects a moving face, to reduce blurring.
3.0" Clear Photo LCD Plus Touch-Screen - Compose and review images, and use the touch screen to navigate menus; specify where you want the camera to focus, or zoom in on the pictures you've taken for a closer look at details. Very tough LCD thanks to a layer of hardened glass.
10.1 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS Sensor – Unique back-illuminated CMOS sensor that delivers extremely fast speed, high resolution, and stunning low-light sensitivity with improved image clarity and drastically reduced grain.
Handheld Twilight Mode/Anti Blur Mode - captures six images in a fraction of a second with one press of the shutter, and combines the data from all six to create a single image of extraordinary detail and low noise - capture images in low light, without flash, beyond the capability of traditional cameras.
Intelligent Auto - When this mode is active, the camera automatically determines the optimal settings for each scene by using Intelligent Scene Recognition – makes taking great shots easy.
Intelligent Scene Recognition - automatically detects nine different types of scene conditions and within 1/30th of a second selects the appropriate camera settings – saves fiddling with menus.
In-camera Retouching – Retouch and enhance your photos on the go with in-camera Trimming, Red-Eye Correction, and Unsharp Masking functions – great if you are printing directly from the camera or memory card.
Smile Shutter – when in this mode camera automatically takes a photo when it detects a subject’s smile in the frame.
Function Guide – help beginners navigate the camera’s functions and settings by displaying descriptions of chosen functions on the LCD screen.
Dynamic Range Optimiser (DRO) – automatically optimises exposure for high –contrast scenes such as backlit portraits to prevent under exposure.
High Speed Shooting - capture full 10.2 megapixel resolution images at up to 10 fps, helping to ensure that you capture the decisive moment such as the soccer ball flying into the goal.
Sweep Panorama Mode - press the shutter button and sweep the camera in the desired direction and the camera continuously shoots at a high speed, then seamlessly stitches the images together to create one stunning panoramic image! |
