The Sony Alpha A330 combines high performance with user-friendly functionality and incorporates a Quick AF Live View system that allows you to compose your shots on the 2.7” variable angle LCD screen. A new Graphic User Interface (GUI) makes it easy for first time DSLR buyers to intuitively understand DSLR camera functions and allows users to easily unleash their creativity to achieve the shots they desire. The A330 allows users to capture their stunning creations in superb detail with its 10.2 megapixel resolution. What are the features and how will they benefit you? |
|
Steady Shot Inside - image stabilisation is incorporated into the camera body. It is effective with any Alpha lens - wide-angle, telephoto, or macro - and enables sharp imaging at shutter speeds 2.5–3.5 stops slower than would otherwise be possible without using a tripod or flash.
10.2 Megapixel APS CCD Sensor - captures your images in spectacular, high-resolution detail, giving you the freedom to make large prints and tight crops without sacrificing quality.
RAW file format – file format that allows greater adjustment of various camera settings on your computer after you have captured your images, without losing image quality, such as adjustment of colour balance, exposure, etc.
2.7” Live View LCD Screen – allows you to frame shots using the LCD screen rather than the viewfinder, similar to a compact digital camera. Also has variable angle tilt screen which is very helpful for unusual shooting positions such as holding the camera overhead or down low; also great for critical manual focusing when performing macro shots.
9-Point AF Sensor - 9-Point Centre Cross AF Sensor with improved focus control to help bring images into sharp definition more quickly, and predictive focus control automatically calculates the position of fast-moving subjects.
Fast Shooting – capture images at 2.5 frames per second
Anti-Dust Technology – prevents and automatically removes tiny dust particles resulting in cleaner images.
Advanced Dynamic Range Optimiser - adopted from the top of the line A900 this helps you take beautiful photos in difficult lighting conditions. Standard mode optimises exposure for the overall scene, while advanced mode can be used to bring out rich shadow and highlight detail.
Bravia Sync / HDMI Out – Easily view your images in all their glory on a HDTV using a HDMI cable (sold separately). Bravia Sync allows you to control camera playback functions using your Bravia TV remote control.
Dual Slot Memory Stick/SD Card – uses both Memory Stick Pro Duo/Pro HG Duo and SD/SDHC cards giving you more choice of storage mediums between devices.
Lenses – wide range of compatible Sony & Carl Zeiss lenses as well as third party lenses such as Tamron and Sigma.
GUI and Help Guide - hone your photographic skills by making it easier to understand how aperture and shutter speed adjustments will affect your results. Further assistance is provided by a user-friendly help guide and example image that is displayed for all shooting modes. |
