The Pentax Optio E70L makes life easy for newcomers to digital photography, but also well experienced photographers will enjoy this easy point-and-shoot device as a secondary camera. The easy, intuitive handling and various scene modes for everyday-situations such as sports, party, kids, pets and landscape make this camera an ideal companion for hobby photographers and beginners. Advanced technical features such as Face Recognition and smile detection enable every user to take high quality portraits. The Pixel Track SR digital shake reduction reduces camera shake for sharp, blur-free images. The Optio E70L offers a great cost-performance ratio with its 10.1 megapixel CCD and a powerful 3x optical zoom (equals 32-96 mm in 35mm-format). Especially handy: The camera can be used with two AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries which are obtainable everywhere. NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
Movie Feature – captures video with audio up to 640 x 480 resolution at 30 frames per second. It features Movie Shake Reduction and a Movie Edit mode.

What are the features and how will they benefit you? |

Pixel Track SR Digital Shake Reduction – helps to counteract blurred images due to shaky hands, subject movement or when shooting in low-light conditions by automatically increasing the camera’s sensitivity. Also important at full zoom where a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end.
10.1 Megapixel – print up to A3 size or crop your images down aggressively whilst retaining enough resolution for great 6x4 prints.
Auto Picture Mode - automatically and instantly selects the appropriate shooting mode for a given subject or scene. This advanced, user-friendly mode lets you effortlessly capture beautiful, high-quality images.
Face Recognition AF & AE - automatically detects, focuses and sets correct exposure for faces rather than other picture elements that might be in the foreground or background.
Smile Capture - automatically releases the shutter the instant it detects your subject’s smile.
Low Power Consumption – expect to get around 180 shots on the supplied AA alkaline batteries and up to 870 shots on 2 x AA Lithium batteries. |
