Sony DCR-DVD608 DVD Digital Handycam Video Camera

The Sony DCR-DVD608 Digital Video Camera combines a 40 x optical zoom, 80 x digital zoom and the convenience of recording straight to DVD. Combined with Sony's Super Steady Shot Image Stabiliser and an easy to use GUI menu, the Sony DVD608 allows you to take great movies without any fuss. This HandyCam also features a Night Shot Plus mode. RRP $699. No longer available.

What are the features and how will they benefit you?

GUI Menu (Graphical User Interface) - the menu is easy to understand and find your way through because it uses pictures, not just words
Photos - allows you to take still shots from your video camera so you don't always need to take lots of cameras with you
Pictbridge - lets you print direct to pictbridge compatible printers without the need for a computer
Super Steady Shot (Image Stabilisation) - helps eliminate blur due to shaky hands which is very important at full zoom (a small movement of the hand can cause a lot of movement at the other end)
