The Pentax Optio S10 is a stylish and ultra-compact digital camera combining 10 megapixels with 3x optical zoom that will give you quality prints up to A3 size and allow cropping of images without losing detail. The S10 features Digital SR (Shake Reduction); High ISO up to 3200; Face Recognition AF & AE; Auto Picture mode that automatically determines the shooting conditions for Landscape, Portrait, Night Scene, and Normal mode; 18 shooting modes and 15 playback modes; “Green Button” to assign frequently used functions; and a bright 2.5” LCD screen with wide viewing-angle. Movie Feature – The S10 will capture video with sound up to 640 x 480 resolution at up to 30fps in (DIVx®) MPEG-4 format. It features Movie anti-shake (Movie SR) and in-camera video editing functions. Movie length is limited to when memory card becomes full or up to 2GB file size.
What are the features and how will they benefit you?
Digital Shake Reduction and Movie Shake Reduction – automatically reduces blur caused by camera shake. High ISO to 3200 – automatically adjusts sensitivity to avoid blur due to low-light conditions or subject movement. Face Recognition AF & AE - automatically detects and focuses on faces rather than what’s in the centre of the picture; automatically adjusts for correct exposure depending on subject lighting. The S10 also has a “Natural Skin Tone” mode that smoothly presents skin texture. Supermacro – allows you to take close-ups as near as 6cm.
