The Panasonic SDR-H80 features an optical 70x Ultra Zoom and Advanced O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) giving you the power you need to take dramatic close-ups or get remarkable shots of even distant subjects. Panasonic's Advanced O.I.S. shifts a corrective lens as you shoot to help eliminate the effects of hand shake, so you get clear, sharp shots even at high zoom levels. The SDR-H80 features Intelligent Auto mode that detects the shooting situation and automatically activates whichever functions - such as Advanced O.I.S., Face Detection, and Intelligent Scene Selector - to deliver the optimal results. Forget about bothersome settings during important scenes and trust iA to give you the optimal shots. The Panasonic SDR-H80 features hybrid recording of video or stills to its built-in 60gb Hard Drive or SDHC memory cards and boasts a 2.7” LCD screen, fast 0.8 second start-up time, and easy YouTube upload mode. What are the features and how will they benefit you? |

Built-in Flash Memory / SDHC memory card recording –Record video or stills to its built-in 60gb Hard Drive or SD/SDHC memory cards for complete flexibility and easy transfer of your video footage.
Optical Image Stabiliser – When hand-shake is detected while shooting, the Advanced O.I.S. system is automatically activated to compensate for blurring and produce beautiful recorded images. Because it is optical there is minimal loss of image quality.
Intelligent Auto – the camera automatically adjusts itself to shooting conditions to achieve optimal results so you don’t have to worry about fiddling with camera settings.
Face Detection – detects human faces (up to 5) and automatically adjusts camera for optimal focus and exposure.
Easy YouTube Mode – limits clips to 10 minutes (the maximum for YouTube) and when plugged in to PC the software automatically starts in upload mode. To upload, simply choose the image file you want and click the Upload button. Encoding is no longer a hassle, as the software does all the work for you.
Soft Skin Mode - When this function detects skin tones, it softens the focus in that area. This has a skin beautifying effect, which makes wrinkles and lines appear less noticeable.
Colour Night View - Leave the light off: Colour Night View gives you images with colour even in dim lighting (2 lx). Light from the LCD is gentle and easy on the eyes, so you can snap shots of sleeping children without waking them up. |
