The Nikon GP-1A GPS Dongle allows you to geotag images by adding geographic positioning information such as latitude and longitude to the EXIF information embedded in your photos.
Correlation between pictures and maps is supported by GPS function in conjunction with ViewNX version 1.2 software and my Picturetown.
The optional Nikon MC-DC2 remote attaches to the remote port on the GP1A allowing for remote shutter control whilst the GPS unit is utilising the camera’s 10-pin remote port.
