Hard Disk / Flash Memory recording – Record video or stills to the 30gb Hard Disk Drive or to MicroSD memory cards for complete flexibility plus easy transfer of your video footage without having to use a PC.
Gigabrid Engine – JVC’s image processor ensures high-quality image capture of both video & stills with significant noise reduction compared to previous models.
Colour Modes – choose between natural and vivid colour modes according to your subject or personal preference.
2.7" LCD with Laser Touch Panel - The Laser Touch Panel interface makes using this camcorder a simple and enjoyable experience with easy access to all menus and camera settings.
Digital Image Stabiliser – digitally compensates for vibration and hand-held movement for smoother, less jumpy images.
Auto Backlight – Automatically adjusts LCD brightness for comfortable viewing whether indoors or outdoors.
Programme AE Dial – includes a variety of scene modes so the camera will choose the correct exposure automatically according to the scene you’re shooting.
Auto Power On / Quick Restart – The power on is linked to the LCD so when you open the LCD the camera is ready to shoot in about 1 second, so you’ll never miss an opportunity.
Auto Exposure Bracketing – takes 3 sequential still shots at different exposures when shutter is pressed – simply select the best shot.
Aperture Priority/Shutter Priority – control depth of field for attractive background blurring or select shutter speed for fast moving subjects or slow-shutter effects.
Histogram Display – graphical display that assists in achieving correct exposures; avoid blown highlights or underexposure.
Auto Flash – Fires when ambient light is low for brilliant still shots.
One Touch Archiving/DVD Burning –combine with the CU-VD3 or CU-VD50 Share Stations (sold separately) for simple one-touch archiving and DVD creation.
