Manfrotto Launches the new Generation of carbon fiber tripods: 190CX

Manfrotto, the world’s leading manufacturer of photographic and video supports, is proud to introduce the evolution of the award winning 190X, the 100% carbon fibre 190CX.

This new carbon model combines great stability and increased rigidity with improved design. The 190CX features a refined leg locking system, new angle adjustment levers, a levelling bubble that is incorporated into head plate, and highly designed levers and column components. Thanks to innovative production techniques, which allow for high quality, 100% carbon tube structures, the 190CX guarantees a higher load capacity and an increased height with a lighter overall weight (-20%) thanks to a completely new design which allowed to lighten the components. Much as the original TIPA award winning 190X, the new 190CX also has the patented centre column system.

The 190CX family includes two PRO versions, the 3-sections 190CXPRO3 and 4-sections 190CXPRO4 and a basic version, the 190CX3.

Among the 190CXPRO3 and 190CXPRO4 features: patented Manfrotto horizontal/vertical centre column system, carbon fibre tri-faceted centre column, magnesium top plate, lever lock and top spider die casting, levelling bubble integrated on the top plate and anti-rotation system inside the carbon fibre tubes.

The basic model, 190CX3, does not feature the quick centre column and magnesium die casting.
